As your son enters college, we understand that you may have some questions as he looks to Greek life. We added this page to help answer some of those questions and to give you some insight from our current parents. We  hope you enjoy this page and we encourage you to look at the rest of our website to get a bigger picture of Greek life and especially Pi Kappa Alpha! This event is held during the fall semester. This is a great chance for the Mom's to visit their sons and see what the fraternity is all about! Enjoy a day at the winery and wonderful dinner at the Lodge!

Dad's Day

This event is held in the spring semester. The Dad's have a chance to come down and spend the day with their sons at the Lodge. A funfilled day of barbeque, washer and horseshoe tournaments, as well as blackjack and craps.

  • Nationally, fraternity members acquire grade point averages above all other college men's scholastic rankings.
  • There is an academic requirement for a member to be in good standing. Fraternities offer advice and tutoring from older brothers who know the courses and the professors
  • 71% of those listed in "Who's Who in America" belong to a fraternity.
  • Of the nation's 50 largest corporations, 43 are headed by fraternity men.

Although fraternity alumni number less than 2% of the population, they make up 52% of the U.S. Senate, 33% of the House of Representatives and 75% of the top executives of the 500 largest business corporations.
